What was once old is now new

As the demolition/renovation carried on upstairs, these two beauties got taken down, tossed into an old drawer from the kitchen and somehow landed on my front porch

They were covered with dust from the drywall, sprinkled with white paint and one was filled with push pins (I have no idea where the push pins came from – yet another unsolved mystery of the second floor renovations).

I must have walked by them at least a dozen times and then one day I froze in my tracks….some how they were different.  They were no longer old light covers, but rather beautiful sconces just waiting to be recognized.

Almost there: The reason this isn’t an after picture is because I still want to add some ribbon or perhaps some beads around the upper lip.  So stay tuned for the after pictures coming soon.

After: Coming soon.
