With Halloween down we are now entering into the core of the Holiday Gauntlet….the eye of the storm, if you will.
With me, it began at the beginning of October with Canada’s Thanksgiving. Next came Halloween – done and done. Since I live in the U.S.A , we now have round two of turkey with the U.S.’s Thanksgiving on November 23. This all is leading up to the mother of all holidays in our family: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s.
Here is an accurate pictorial portrayal of the Holiday Gauntlet.
Round 2 of turkey….
And since my sister-in-law is Jewish and we want to respect her holiday traditions, we have a little of this tossed into the mix
and then some of this…
And when it’s all said and done, I look like this….
I am feeling stuffed, excited and exhausted just thinking about it!
But there is no rest for the wicked, so down comes the Halloween decorations and up with the Thanksgiving decorations. Who are we kidding…..we’re going straight to Christmas decorations! 😉
Any of you run the Holiday Gauntlet?
