Pre-Easter Giggles

Friday is finally here. As I prepped this post, my little man sat beside me and pointed to every funny picture (saying in his best Joker voice) “Jokes on you Batman!!!”. Got to hand it to him, this kid can relate any task to superheroes. 😉

So enjoy these giggles picked by my little JBear and enjoy your weekend!!! 🙂 Happy Easter All.

Easter Leftovers

As we buy and fill plastic Easter eggs and dye hard-boiled eggs a plethora of colours, how many of you think “what will I do with these when Easter has come and gone?”.

Last year, my hubby wanted to just toss the plastic Easter eggs but I (being a penny-pincher) packed the easter eggs away in a zip lock bag to reuse this year. Not a bad idea. But there are so many more ideas out there to create multi-coloured toys or trinkets.

With the flash of a sharpie, you can turn these into a cute little learning game as I described in this post.

They are great for storing little snacks for trips. Or let your little one’s imagination run wild and transform these into anything from animals, to insects, to snakes. Who am I kidding, I would LOVE to play with these myself.

Amazingly enough, these babies can even be transformed into cute creations that you can have in your home all year round, such as this pretty candle holder.

How about decoupage or wrapping them in your favorite fabric. I think these would look so cute sitting on the kitchen counter.

Change their colour all together and use them as placecard holders or pair these with a cute stack of notes and leave a message for your loved one such as “I love you” or “Have a great day”.

There are so many great ideas out there to suit everyone so don’t let these babies go to waste. And don’t forget to share with us what you plan on doing with your left over Easter eggs (plastic or hard-boiled). 🙂
