Do you get butterflies in your stomach when you see a well-organized closet, or bounce up and down in your seat when you stumble upon a blog which focuses on different tricks to keep a tidy house?
My friends, welcome to my life. To me, cleaning and organizing is a HUGE stress reliever. If my home is messy and unorganized, to me it feels like everything is unorganized and chaos ensues. Let me clarify, I am not such a clean fanatic that if a toy is left on the living room floor, I freak out. I just LOVE, LOVE, LOVE a clean house.
Since I am by no means an expert at cleaning and organizing, I’m alway searching for ideas, tricks, and tips on different ways to tackle projects. I found some really cool ideas that I just had to share.
I am drooling over Ingrid’s (from Now At Hom Mom) home office. I honestly don’t know where to start; from her DIY Desktop carousel to her bright pink peg board, I am in love with this room!
Then there is, Cassie from Hi Surgarplum; she can fit more under her bathroom sink than I can fit in my entire bathroom. I love her use of labeled containers. This is definitely a must do for me.
Clean and organized isn’t limited to your house. Keeping all those bills/receipts out shoe box and filing them away in an organized fashion keeps money in my wallet and a smile on my face. A great site for organizing your budget (as well as your home) is A Bowl Full Of Lemons. I first stumbled upon this as I perused Pintrest and this picture caught my eye.
Her site is jam-packed with great cleaning tips, DIY home-made cleaning supplies, printable checklists and so on. If organization is your bag, you have to check this site out.
Do you have tips and tricks you use when cleaning and organizing? Or do you prefer the casualness of clutter and to let things fall where they may? 🙂
